If you’ve ever wondered when a world-beating chip would arrive in the land of the long white cloud, then wonder no longer. Tyrrells exceedingly English crisps are here.

As the eagle-eyed among you will have noticed, Tyrrells crisps are English… as English as warm beer, cricket and queuing in the rain.

So you want to know the secret to Tyrrells exceptional crisps? We thought you’d never ask. One minor caveat: do keep it under your hat, won’t you? Trade secrets and all.

English Potatoes Made the Proper Way

Tyrrells only use potatoes from Herefordshire farmers, their favorites being the rather aristocratic and delicious Lady Rosetta and Lady Claire. They’re the names of the potatoes, not the farmers – just to be clear.

Tyrrells crisps are made by hand, in small batches. Sounds a bit fancy, but all they really do is slice some top-notch potatoes, sizzle them up in a big frying pan and then shake in one of the delicious natural seasonings.

The flavors arriving on our shores are:
  • Cider, Vinegar & Sea Salt
  • Lightly Sea Salted
  • Mature Cheddar & Chives
  • Sweet Chilli & Red Pepper
Naturally Delicious

Top-notch potato crisps call for top-‐notch seasonings. Tyrrells take proper ingredients, dry them, and then expertly mix them up to make lip-‐smacking recipes. All of the ingredients are completely natural with no nonsense, like MSG, whatsoever.

Skin On, Thick Cut

Nothing satisfies the soul quite like the crunch of a thick-cut crisp. The skin is where the flavor and goodness is so Tyrrells leave the jackets on. It’s only polite.

Tyrrells get that colossal crunch by sending the crisps from the fryer into a Big Spinny Thing™ whichis basically like a huge tumble drier that takes off any extra oil.

We reckon Tyrrellscrisps are rather special, but we would wouldn’t we. By far the best strategy for you is to grab a bag, dig in and see if you agree.
