Paxie's Lane artwork coming soon

The latest art installation in Napier’s central business district will be officially revealed on Monday.

The new artwork, in Paxie’s Lane, has been created by Napier artist Philipp Meier.

Funded by a grant from Napier City Council’s Arts Advisory Panel, the installation will be an eye-catching visual feature of the lane, a busy thoroughfare connecting Hastings Street and Marine Parade.
