Meetings and conferences at Holiday Inn Rotorua will have a fresh look and feel following upgrades and refurbishments to key spaces.

The refurbishment means conferences, events and meetings in Rotorua will enjoy market-leading conference spaces in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

The conference rooms – Cascades, Kauri, Totara and Te Puna Aroha - have been fitted with Panasonic High Definition (HD) projectors with integrated Wi-Fi and audio systems, brand new black-out blinds and have had a fresh lick of paint.

A popular venue for hundreds of business events each year – from small meetings and extensive conferences to trade shows and exhibitions – Holiday Inn Rotorua already has a well-deserved reputation as the hotel of choice for the C&I market in the central North Island.

The properties showcase venue Pohutu Cultural Theatre is unique to Rotorua and is the perfect location for conferences, black tie gala events, weddings and cultural performances.

Business Development Director Julie Carcaterra said the recent upgrade ensures Holiday Inn Rotorua will stay “front of mind” for MICE bookings in the town.

Many conference guests take advantage of everything Rotorua has to offer by extending their stay to explore the North Island’s adventure capital or to take part in team building exercises.

Julie Carcaterra said 2016 was shaping up to be an “exciting time” for Holiday Inn Rotorua and the destination as a whole.

“We’ve been listening to our client’s needs, with the recent upgrades and a change in direction and strategy, we will be delivering on a unique experience for our clients that’s reliable, consistent and offered in a genuine, warm and welcoming environment.

“We have some great events in-house over the coming weeks which is the perfect opportunity to showcase our upgraded facilities.
