Sleepless nights are a thing of the past at Crowne Plaza Auckland and Crowne Plaza Queenstown which have just launched a new ‘Sleep Advantage’ programme.

The new ‘sleep service’ will help business and leisure travellers enjoy a rejuvenating night’s rest so they wake up feeling productive and energised for the day ahead.

Key components of a well-rested stay are comfortable premium bedding, aromatherapy, quiet zones and a guaranteed wake-up call, and Sleep Advantage offers them all in one package.

For the ultimate home-away-from-home experience, supremely comfortable mattresses, premium bed linen, and ergonomic pillows (on request) will ensure the deepest of deep sleeps, and a luxury Elemis room mist is designed to  help soothe and comfort the mind.

Struggling to get to sleep is a thing of the past, with dedicated ‘quiet zones’ within the hotels operating between 9pm and 10am seven days a week, ensuring minimal disturbance for guests who need a peaceful night’s sleep.

To help ease any anxiety around over-sleeping, guests can specify a time frame for a wake-up call. A guaranteed follow up wake-up call within five minutes will ensure they are ready for the day and don’t ‘snooze’ away their morning. If the wake-up call is missed within this timeframe, the hotels have pledged to offer that nights’ stay free of charge.

IHG’s Area Director of Sales and Marketing Franck Hesse said Crowne Plaza was delighted that Auckland and Queenstown could offer guests a personal space to unwind.

“Auckland and Queenstown are busy hubs for business and leisure travellers,” he said.

“Guests can be staying with us with their diaries full of business meetings and use us as their mobile office, or have a busy holiday itinerary with activities and flights to catch.

“It’s a privilege to be able to offer them the perfect space to work, rest and restore.”

Crowne Plaza Queenstown General Manager Reinier Eulink said while the town was a well-known destination for holidaymakers, it also hosted its fair share of those coming to work, not play.

“Business travellers coming to Queenstown from around New Zealand and overseas for conference and incentives meetings are a significant part of our guest mix and we’re delighted to be able to offer them a service such as this,” he said.
