Concert marks sister city signing

The mayor’s music matinee on Friday (1 July) celebrates the 30th anniversary of Hamilton’s sister city signing with Wuxi in China.
It will feature performers from The New Zealand School of Traditional Chinese Music and Performing Arts including renowned performer Xi-Yao Chen. The performances will explore the lives, culture and traditions of the Chinese people through traditional music.

COSTS: Free entry
Gold coin donation accepted, with all proceeds going to The New Zealand School of Traditional Chinese Music and Performing Arts
