Food trucks (and food comas on the grass? Enjoy your favourite season of the year by indulging in a range of delicious cuisines from Auckland’s finest mobile food vendors as you bask in the warming rays of the New Zealand sun, the gentle breeze and a whole array of international foods for your culinary pleasure.

As day events and festivals take the world by storm, move over Auckland’s clubbing and night time parties as Smales Farm hosts New Zealand’s first ever New Year’s Day party in conjunction with Highlife Entertainment - January 1, 2018.

Veterans in the business and organisers of New Zealand’s most premium and desired events, Highlife Entertainment bring more than 15 years’ experience in organising New Year’s Eve parties in Australasia, establishing themselves as pioneers of calendar festivities and live events.

Highlife party goers will be able to enjoy Smales Farm’s sprawling greenery with guests whilst given the opportunity to celebrate New Year’s Day under the sun and sky with style in a premium open-air party atmosphere.

There will be live performances from a range of international and local musicians including international acts like Ron Carroll, Tai as well as local favourites in the form of Mr & Mrs Haines, DJ Lucas, Karn Hall, and more! There’ll also be an abundance of food, performers, private party suites, and festival activities to get involved in.

For three weekends across February and March, the Smales Farm Outdoor Movie Season will once again play the gracious host for a season of free outdoor movies.

There’s nothing more pleasant than enjoying a great movie from the vantage of a grassy picnic spot, surrounded by friends, family and delicious food on a warm evening.

From 3 pm onwards, you’ll also enjoy a selection of curated mobile food vendors courtesy of Food Space, a regular congregation of Auckland’s best-loved mobile food vendors. On offer will be a diverse range of food and drink options from Food Space and also from Smales Farm hospitality outlets.

Immerse yourself in Auckland’s hottest urban festival with an incredible mix of live music, boutique beverages and delectable street food in the North Shore’s newest festival venue, Smales Farm. Welcome news for festival fanatics, the Takapuna Food, Wine and Music Festival will debut on Saturday 10 February 2018.

Smales Farm will host the R20 inaugural event on its sprawling lush green spaces, purpose-built amenities with immediate proximity to public transport and motorway access, to create a relaxed festival vibe only 10 minutes from the CBD.

A collaboration with Highlife Entertainment, the day promises a hybrid experience, with live performances by Sneaky Sound System, Sola Rosa, and Nathan Haines who lead a 12-strong artist line up.
“By fusing a strong music festival line up with the chance to enjoy award-winning wine from Waiheke, Kumeu, Marlborough, Queenstown, French champagnes, top local craft breweries, and premium cuisine providers, we can truly deliver a new and sophisticated event we know Aucklanders will love,” says Adam Bennett, Highlife Entertainment.

Put on your cycling shorts and fasten your helmet, it’s time to test your riding skills. 4000 cyclists are expected to cross Auckland Harbour Bridge on February 18, in Smales Farm’s Bike and Bridge mania!
Do you have what it takes? Have you ever wanted to ride over the bridge? Join in the fun and challenge yourself in a rare and exhilarating opportunity to ride across the Auckland Harbour Bridge and Northern Busway.
