Treat yourself to a therapeutic deep tissue massage then relax and soak up the heat in the sauna or the adults only, 40degree, Tekapo pool while the kids (and other half) play on the rink and in the pools.

Alpine Springs Day Spa is the perfect spot to relax after an event, after intense training or just for some pampering. The Day Spa offers a range of treatments from face care, waxing and tinting, hand care, foot care, body care and massage; there is something to suit everyone. With it’s fully equipped treatment rooms, internationally qualified team of beauty and massage therapists and beautiful view overlooking Lake Tekapo; Alpine Springs is the perfect setting for you to relax, recover and get pampered.

The Day Spa is just another wonderful aspect of Alpine Springs: Tekapo’s favourite tourist attraction. Alpine Springs boasts three spring fed hot pools; terraced to offer the best view of Lake Tekapo. Each pool is shaped like one of the surrounding Lakes in the area: Tekapo, Pukaki and Ohau. The pools are heated between 34-40 degrees Celsius and contain special features such as fountains and massage jets to aid in recovery and relaxation. Also, provided in the main complex is a Plunge pool, Sauna and Steam room.

For family fun, or a distraction while you get pampered, there is Roller and Inline skating in the summer and Ice-skating in the winter on the internationally sized Skating Rink. This year the ice skating rink will be opening on April 15th just in time for the school holidays. Winter is a special time of year for Alpine Springs, as well as the Ice Rink there is 150m x 50m Snow Tubing Park. This is great fun for the whole family; just take your tube to the top on the new Magic Carpet and slide on down for an adrenaline-pumping ride!

To complete the Alpine Springs experience, indulge in any of the delicious homemade snacks or meals provided by the Alpine Springs Café. Or enjoy a delicious, freshly made fruit juice or smoothie.

Alpine Springs has a number of pamper packages on offer for those here for pleasure. The Couples retreat is the perfect get away for you and your other half. It includes couples full body massages, deluxe facials and head massages. Or enjoy the self-indulgent treat that is the Relaxation Break. The Relaxation Break involves a full body scrub, full body mask; full body Swedish massage, lunch at the Alpine Springs café, a deluxe facial then its finished off with your choice of a manicure or pedicure. Both of these packages include hot pool, sauna and steam room entry.

Alpine Springs’ opening hours are 9am to 9pm and it is situated at the end of Lakeside drive at the far end of Tekapo, when driving towards Twizel.
