Asics Releases New Generation Kayano Running Shoe

The latest model of ASICS top of the line Kayano running shoe has been released in time for the summer running months – and the new GEL-Kayano 15 promises even more features than its predecessor.

Kelly Houliston from ASICS says the Kayano has long been recognised as an elite shoe, especially for high mileage runners.

“The Kayano has always been a showcase of the best of ASICS’ technologies and now this latest model, the GEL-Kayano 15, is promising even more with a significant advancement in technology from the previous model.

“It combines the very best blend of cushioning and stability, through a new higher volume rear foot GEL, and provides for better mechanics and added stability to the midfoot.
“It also incorporates new biomorphic paneling in the upper, ensuring a better fit, improved comfort and less risk of injury,” says Kelly.
The new model features a strengthened, extended trusstic system - the moulded component under the midfoot area providing over-pronation control - which sits above the rear foot GEL unit.

A new gender specific midfoot design is incorporated as well as ASICS asymmetrical lacing which follows the anatomical profile of the foot for a perfect fit.
