The Winery Tour Album Announced!

To celebrate seven years of the iconic Winery Tour, and to celebrate the Winery Tour's landmark 100th show at the Black Barn Vineyards on 8 February 2013, Civic Events are releasing a Winery Tour Compilation Album,  Music From The Winery Tour 2007 –  2013, which will be available on November 2.

The 19 track album will feature a track from each artist from each year of the Winery Tour since 2007, including the yet-to-be announced 2013 Tour line-up. The album is the perfect distillation of seven years worth of great memories.

Since 2007 the Winery Tour has been an integral part of New Zealand's summer. "It is special because it encapsulates three great things about this wonderful country: our music, our wine and our land" say the tours producers Campbell Smith and Brent Eccles, "It is special because it joins together artists and audience like no other event. It is special because it travels from Tutukaka to Dunedin.
 

The Winery Tour is about summer. It is about family, in front of the stage and behind it. It is about open skies, blue and black, about sun and rain. It’s about dancing madly and often badly and not caring. It’s about singing along, loudly and proudly."



The Music From The Winery Tour 2007 – 2013 album will be in stores on November 2, however a special pre-order has been set up now, which features a very special prize.



Anyone who pre-orders the album through the Winery Tour's website, www.winerytour.co.nz, before 29 October goes into the draw to win a Golden Ticket Double Pass, which gives the winner a pass for two people to their local Winery Tour show from 2013 and every Winery Tour thereafter.

Music From The Winery Tour 2007 – 2013 is available for pre-order now, and will be released November 2. The full track listing will be revealed on Thursday 25 October, when the 2013 Winery Tour line up is announced.
