Looking for a way to inspire your young Kiwi Einsteins? Applications are now open for the Bayer Primary School Science Fund!

Bayer is offering funding to primary schools across the country that want to enhance or kick-start an environmental science project, to get Kiwi kids excited about how science can help us look after our planet.

Dr Holger Detje from Bayer, says: “Many schools across New Zealand have lots of students who love science. Unfortunately not all have the resource and budget available to give young scientists the kind of hands-on experience that can inspire a life-long passion.”

“With the Bayer Primary School Science Fund, we’re looking to get youngsters excited about the subject. Science can be used to create a better life for people and the planet, so we’re proud to play a part in inspiring a scientific passion in young New Zealanders.”

Primary schools can apply for up to $2000 to fund any given science project, and Bayer will be offering funding to up to 12 primary schools across New Zealand.

Applications are open from now until 2 April 2014. For an application form, visit
