Prudence Place – Taranaki’s newest boutique lodge and day spa - offers a personal slice of paradise to travellers to the vibrant region.

Offering two spectacularly appointed suites the lodge raises the bar for luxury accommodation in the region, within the friendly and creative coastal village of Oakura and to a backdrop of Mount Taranaki and the iconic Surf Highway 45.

Prudence Place has modernised and transformed a home designed by the office of iconic New Zealand architect Ian Athfield to create a wonderfully private and personal retreat.

The two spacious luxury suites feature double doors opening to a private garden courtyard and a swimming and spa pool with rural vistas, looking up to Mount Taranaki and the Kaitake Ranges.

Each room features super-king beds with the finest Bianca Lorenne Italian linens and private bathrooms lavishly stocked with complimentary Living Nature products from their newly-released natural skincare range.
